Today, my mind started to wonder back to the 80’s and Bishop, Baldwin, Rewald, Dillingham, and Wong came to mind. When you ask anyone from my generation or before about those names, they’ll tell you that many people lost a lot of money to that “firm”.
Ron Rewald, who played for the Kansas City Chiefs, then owned a store franchise, came to Hawaii with his family. When he was here, he set up a firm called Bishop, Baldwin, Rewald, Dillingham, and Wong (What an embarrassment. He played for my favorite team. Sheesh).
I’m not sure what happened to Rewald, but I’ve read articles about people still trying to get money back from the state that they lost to Rewald. Out of all of this, that’s the one thing that I just don’t get. Why sue the state? Why keep hounding a case that’s closed and over 20 years old? Sheesh. The money those people want from the state is being eaten by thier lawsuits.
